Kringles’s Filling Station is located on Aurora Avenue and housed inside a converted filling and service station that was originally built in the 1920’s. When it is not dressed up as a Christmas Miracle, the building houses the offices and workshop of Hotopp Creative Studio, the creators of this attraction.
The Hotopp team not only work in this community, many of them, including the owner and creative director, live within a few blocks of the studio. This area is filled with families like thiers who are hopeful for a future where the Aurora corridor, which has been challenged in recent years in terms of crime and safety, changes for the better.
This building and its connection to a time when the Aurora Corridor was in its heyday are important to the people at Hotopp. We hope to bring a little of the old school spark back to Highway 99, to bring fun and energy into our community and to inspire others to do the same.
Kringle’s is our way to support change for the better on Aurora by creating something joyful and positive to share with our friends and neighbors for the holiday season.
