In December 2020 we began working with the Seattle Kraken Entertainment Experience team to concept a holistic fan experience and guest journey for their inaugural season. Over the course of the the year our efforts focused around in-game experience, specifically centered around the pre-game show and the Players Entrance. We concepted over a dozen different player’s entrances, developed storyboards and animations for the pre-game sequence, as well as managed the execution of a 26’ Kraken tentacle surrounded by 28 hanging ice shards. These elements descend at the climax of the pre-game experience as the Kraken’s tentacle appears to have burst through the ice. On Saturday January 15, 2022 the fans were fully immersed in the legend of the Kraken.
